We’re proud to announce the success of the 2025 Home for a Cure auction, which raised an incredible $1,002,000 for My Room Children’s Cancer Charity - a result that will directly support children and families across Victoria facing the challenges of childhood cancer.

The auctioned home, located in Mickleham’s Botanical estate, was the result of a heartfelt collaboration between Henley, Satterley Property Group, volunteer trades, and generous suppliers. Every dollar raised will fund critical services including financial relief, emotional support, bedside clinical care, and research into better treatments and outcomes for childhood cancers.

“The sale of this home is vital and transformative,” says Margaret Zita, CEO of My Room. “It opens the door to brighter futures for children and families who need us most. For those on this journey, it means they are not alone.”

The home - our Lancaster 355-D38 from the Mainvue collection - was built on land generously donated by Satterley Property Group, showcasing the power of community spirit and shared purpose.

“This home embodies the best of what Henley does - design excellence, quality craftsmanship, and above all, community spirit,” says Ben Griffiths, general manager, Henley completed homes.

“Thanks to our volunteer trades, suppliers, Satterley, and the new owners, we’ve once again transformed bricks and mortar into life-changing support.”

“Donating land for this project is one of our proudest contributions,” adds Jack Hoffman, Satterley’s general manager Victoria and Queensland. “This million-dollar result will fund vital services and world-class research, helping ease the burden for families during incredibly difficult times.”
