Construction has officially started on our 2026 Home For A Cure in Donnybrook – supporting a cause we hold very close to our hearts, My Room Children’s Cancer Charity.

To mark the launch, we welcomed trades and suppliers to Satterley’s Heartford estate this week, sharing insight into the purpose behind the build and the impact each contribution will make for families facing childhood cancer.

Now in its fourth year, Home For A Cure continues to gain momentum, with previous projects raising more than $3.1 million for My Room. This year’s build will once again see 100 per cent of proceeds from the completed home donated directly to the charity.

Guests heard from My Room CEO Margaret Zita, and charity ambassador Nicole Piastri (Formula 1 star Oscar’s mum), as well as Dieter - the inspiring young man who is the face of Home For A Cure this year - alongside his dad. Their shared message was clear - every material, every hour of labour and every act of support helps provide real, tangible relief to families navigating the challenges of childhood cancer.

Dieter and his family have experienced firsthand the realities of a childhood cancer diagnosis. Now continuing recovery, Dieter’s story is a powerful reminder of why initiatives like Home For A Cure matter - and the meaningful difference they can make in the lives of families.

More than just a home build, the project represents a collective industry effort. From tradies on site to suppliers behind the scenes, each contribution forms part of something much bigger: funding critical research, supporting specialist care and easing the day-to-day burden for families in need.

My Room remains a volunteer-led organisation dedicated to fighting childhood cancer on every front - providing financial and emotional support, investing in life-saving research and helping give every child the best possible chance of recovery. Importantly, at least 95 per cent of every dollar donated goes directly toward these outcomes.

As construction progresses on the Vienna 240-S26 design, the build will continue to showcase the power of collaboration, generosity and community.

The completed home will go under the hammer later this year, offering buyers the opportunity to secure a brand-new Henley home while contributing to an important cause.

Stay tuned for updates as the 2026 Home For A Cure takes shape - and follow along as the industry comes together to build something truly meaningful.
