We are proud to announce our partnership with the inaugural Geelong Running Festival as the naming rights partner of the Henley Homes Community 6.5km run.

Set to take place on 19-20 September 2026, the festival will bring together thousands of participants across a range of events, including the full marathon, half marathon, wheelchair half marathon and 6.5km community run on the Sunday, plus kids’ and all-abilities events on the Saturday.

Not only is this festival about health, fitness and fun, it’s also a celebration of Geelong’s rich history and iconic landmarks, and an opportunity to make a positive and lasting impact in the community, with the event organisers aiming to raise $250,000 for local charities. Learn more here.

This partnership reflects our commitment to supporting the communities where we live, work and build. The Henley Homes Community 6.5km has been designed as an inclusive event, welcoming families, first-time runners, local sports clubs and community groups to participate in one of Geelong’s biggest new events.

As a long-standing builder in Victoria, and with strong connections to the Geelong region, we’re excited to support an event that celebrates wellbeing, community spirit and local pride.

“We can’t wait to run alongside the Geelong community in Geelong’s first marathon - such a significant moment for the city,” said Tindi Sorbera, General Manager Marketing.

“Through our support of the 6.5km community run, we’re proud to be right there on the ground, not just as a sponsor, but as active participants in a community we’ve helped shape.”

The festival course will showcase some of Geelong’s most iconic landmarks, including Steampacket Gardens, Eastern Beach, the Geelong Waterfront and Kardinia Park.

We look forward to joining thousands of participants this September and celebrating a significant new chapter for Geelong’s events calendar.

Registrations are now open for anyone who would like to join in the fun and community spirit! Register before 1 August to avoid paying the late entry price.
