Some home designs don’t just have a moment - they continue to perform year after year because they genuinely reflect how people want to live. Across our collections, many of the homes that proved most popular in 2025 are still ranking highly with buyers this year, thanks to layouts that prioritise flexibility, generous open living and thoughtful zoning between private and shared spaces.
Mainvue designs continue to lead the way, while Breakthrough and Reserve homes are also maintaining strong interest among buyers seeking something a little different in both style and scale. At the same time, some of our newer designs are beginning to enter the conversation, adding fresh options to an already well loved lineup.
Here’s a look at the home designs that continue to capture attention across our range -and why they’re still proving so popular.
Double storey designs buyers keep coming back to
Among double storey homes, the Bordeaux, Balmoral and Lancaster series remain consistent top performers. While each offers a distinct design personality, they share several features that continue to speak to modern families: options for multi generational living, expansive open plan layouts, multiple living areas, large walk in pantries and a wide selection of façade styles to deliver strong street appeal.
The Bordeaux series from our Mainvue collection continues to attract families looking for a contemporary layout that balances everyday functionality with a sense of luxury. Its open living zones and striking architectural features make it a natural choice for those wanting a modern family home with impact.
The Balmoral series appeals to buyers who love generous proportions and clearly defined living spaces. It’s a design that works especially well for busy households, with a layout that keeps the main living areas connected while still allowing quiet zones for work, study or downtime. This series is also part of our Mainvue collection.
Meanwhile, the Lancaster series, once again from our Mainvue collection, remains a long-time favourite. With its spacious design and elegant flow between indoor and outdoor areas, it’s a home that suits growing families looking for both comfort and flexibility.
Single storey standouts
In single storey designs, the Geneva, Sierra and Fiorina series are still among the most requested. Each offers a slightly different approach to single level living, but all deliver efficient layouts, clever zoning and a strong sense of flow - key factors in their ongoing popularity.
The Mainvue Geneva series continues to impress with its seamless flow between living areas and outdoor entertaining spaces. It’s a design that feels open and welcoming, making it ideal for families who enjoy hosting or simply want a home that feels light and connected.
The Sierra series stands out for its practical layout and comfortable proportions. Like all our Mainvue collection homes, it’s a design that works beautifully for everyday family life, offering well-zoned bedrooms and a central living area that naturally becomes the heart of the home.
The Fiorina 186-S20, from our Breakthrough collection, shows that great design doesn’t need to be complicated. With its efficient floorplan and thoughtful use of space, it’s a strong choice for first-home buyers or those looking to build a stylish yet attainable new home.
Reserve homes that remain in demand
In the luxury space, two designs from our Reserve collection stand out, particularly among customers undertaking knockdown rebuilds or acreage projects.
The Valletta series is all about scale and sophistication. With expansive living zones, impressive architectural lines and a double-storey layout designed for entertaining, it’s a natural fit for buyers looking to create a statement home on a premium site.
On the single storey side, the Colorado 349-S38 offers a distinctive ranch-style design that feels perfectly suited to larger blocks and lifestyle properties. Its wide footprint, flowing living spaces and relaxed architectural style appeal to buyers wanting a home that blends space, comfort and character.
Façade styles that remain firm favourites
Many of the façade designs that captured attention last year are still influencing buyer choices today.
Inspired by display homes in Kalkallo, Werribee, Glen Waverley and Sunbury, buyers are continuing to flock to the Novello façade, thanks to its refined proportions and timeless architectural appeal.
The Kube façade showcased in Tarneit and Clyde, also remains a favourite among buyers drawn to contemporary design. Its clean geometric lines and bold material contrasts deliver a modern, design‑forward street presence.
On the single storey side, the Calihan façade from Aintree continues to resonate, particularly for buyers wanting a balanced and welcoming frontage. The Eastport façade, featured at Truganina, also remains popular for its relaxed, coastal‑inspired aesthetic and modern detailing.
What’s beginning to join the mix
While many familiar favourites continue to dominate, newer designs and recent display openings are starting to gain traction.
“Our latest home design releases, Halcyon and Capri series, are set to join the A-listers, as buyer interest grows,” says regional sales manager Shane Dal Santo.
“Our new Amalfi and Athena display homes, which opened in Clyde last December, along with the upcoming Legano, opening later this year in Glen Waverley, are expected to drive increased demand for these designs.”
Plus, we’ve just released the Catalina, which has changed the game for families looking for a single storey home with a generous and highly practical butler’s pantry.
As always, customer needs continue to evolve, but one thing remains constant: the most loved homes are the ones that combine thoughtful design, flexibility and a strong connection to how families want to live today.
With more than 90 floorplans to choose from, and an extensive range of pre-drawn customisation options, there’s a design to suit every lifestyle - whether that means choosing a proven favourite or discovering a new design that feels just right for the way you live today.
